Scotsdale Terriers is the kennel name for Deborah and Claude Leibensberger who proudly raise Airedale and Scottish Terrier in Plano Texas..

I got my first Scottie “Sherlock” in 1985.  As a puppy, Sherlock saved my life.   I was not supposed to have a pet in the apartment, but I put Sherlock in a crate and snuck him into my apartment.  One night, there was a gas leak from an old stove and Sherlock woke me up because of the gas or maybe it was the hissing sound of it escaping.  The fire department said that everyone in the building would have been killed if Sherlock had not been there to wake me up.  Sherlock was allowed to stay. My life has been enriched with Sherlock, Maggie (a Scottie from Rescue), and the following Champion Scotties which I purchased from Jane Phelan….Jake,  Lara, and Keefer.

Daphne, (Majestyk Appollo's Laurel) is my first Airedale.  She has both her major wins and I am looking forward to finishing my first owner-handled Champion.
